Retorna um identificador de conexão persistente Sybase positivo em caso de sucesso, ou FALSE em caso de erro.
sybase_pconnect() funciona muito parecido com sybase_connect() com duas diferenças maiores.
Primeiro, ao conectar, a função tenta encontrar uma conexão (persistente) que já esteja aberta com o mesmo servidor, nome de usuário e senha, Se for encontrada uma, um identificador para ela será retornado ao invés de abrir uma nova conexão.
Segundo, a conexão para o servidor SQL não será fechada quando a execução do script terminar. Ao invés, a conexão permanecerá aberta para para uso futuro (sybase_close() não irá fechar conexões estabelecidas por sybase_pconnect()()).
Este tipo de conexão é portanto chamada 'persistente'.
